Light brown, dark brown,
Bright orange, red and yellow.
All the tall tales of autumn,
A season that leads to Winter.
Dark and light grey clouds,
Sometimes even white, fluffy.
The snow brings winter,
But rains lead into the Spring.
Bright, light beautiful flowers,
Baby animals, fresh clean air.
Colourful and fragrant, is spring,
But along comes heat, Summer.
Light green turning brown,
Finding shade, from the sun.
The dulling of colours, summer,
Bright oranges again, autumn.
A continuous cycle of seasons,
Ever changing, one after another.
Going from brights, lights and dulls,
The seasons always change.

Ah very nice, the familiar passage of time and seasons. :D
ReplyDeleteI really like this one! It's great how the morphing of the seasons are described so vividly, and I love the line with the "baby animals". :D
