Imagine, The Unicorn

Standing there,
Right in front of
Your very eyes.
A single horned,
Hoofed creature.
White,
Tall,
Slender,
Mystical,
Magical,
Beautiful.
It looks at you,
With very mysterious eyes.

Its gaze captures you,
Holds you in a grasp.
You wish not to stare,
But you can't help it.
As you attempt to look away,
It talks to you.
It's voice is like nothing,
You've ever heard before.
Musical,
Enchanting,
Resonating,
Captivating,
Fluid,
Whimsical.
It draws you back to it.

"Do not fear me,
I've been sent to help you."
It's almost like a whisper,
That you can hear clearly.
You walk up to the Unicorn,
Pat it along it's neck.
Smooth,
Shiny,
Shimmery,
Soft,
Glowing,
Magnetic.
"Climb aboard me,
I will not hurt you."
You hold onto her mane,
Pull yourself upon her back.

Off you ride,
Into the wilderness unknown.
Where you're off to,
Not even she will tell you.
But she warns you,
"My dear, prepare yourself!"

On The Inside

On the inside,
You're severely bleeding.
But, nobody,
Can see your wounds.

On the inside,
You're shrieks scream.
But, nobody,
Can hear your cries.

On the inside,
You're tears never stop.
But, nobody,
Can dry your eyes.

On the inside,
You're badly burned.
But, nobody,
Can see the blisters.

On the inside,
You're all alone.
But, nobody,
Realizes this is the truth.

On the inside,
You're swallowed in darkness.
But, everybody,
Sees you surrounded by light.

On the inside,
There are many problems.
But, to everyone,
There is only ONE problem.

On the inside,
You've reached out.
But, nobody,
Has ever reached back.

Until now.
You see a hand,
That reaches out to you,
But only,
On the inside.
